TPV Coloured Granules

TPV is an alternative to the granules presently available for use in impact absorbing rubberized sports surfaces. It is produced using state-of-the-art technology under strict in-house quality controls and is a virgin material manufactured from a high-grade polymer - free from zinc, sulphur, polyaromatic hydrocarbons, heavy metals and phthalates. It contains no clay fillers.

Contrary to popular belief, being a vulcanized thermoplastic material does not mean that TPV will leach out harmful sulphurs or peroxides into the environment. Unlike other TPE's, the vulcanization process ensures that the granule will continue to perform in all-weather extremes. It is ideal for use all over the world irrespective of weather conditions and temperatures and has been formulated to give optimum performance at a realistic price.

TPV offers excellent thermal stability and does not leach out carbon black or coloured pigments like many of its rivals on the market. The product is UV stable, weather resistant, and will not embrittle with age. TPV has been formulated using the best possible quality base polymers that are known to give excellent general chemical resistance. TPV will show good resistance to everyday chemicals (e.g. chlorine) allowing widespread use of the granules in a number of areas. It offers colour consistency from bag to bag; will not self ingnite; nor will it assist to further fuel a fire. TPV offers you the next generation of consistent coloured granulate for a resilient, hard wearing indoor or outdoor safety surface.

TPV is highly durable and is seen as a major breakthrough for the use in children's safety surfacing, multi-games areas (MUGA'S), swimming pool surrounds, running tracks and rubber play tile production. It offers excellent compatibility with polyurethane binders and adhesives.

TPV "In-fill" has been tested by ISA SPORT and LABOSPORT and is deemed to meet the criteria set within the FIFA 2 star concept.
